The Digital Literacy program empowers adults to utilize technology as a tool for self-sufficiency. LAI offers two paths to digital literacy: Beginners complete an 8-week program designed to improve their computer skills. Adult learners will acquire skills in basic computer vocabulary, how to use Windows programs, internet safety, email, and navigating a smartphone. Moderately experienced computer users earn a Microsoft Office certificate through Northstar Digital Literacy and acquire basic skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, internet safety, and applying for college and careers online.
